MI Emirates snatch a dramatic finish to topple Sharjah Warriorz by four runs in the International League T20.

Dinesh Karthik struck a boundary through mid-wicket, yet Tom Kohler-Cadmore, who had reached 51, missed a bigger moment by holing out to long-on. As the late drama unfolded, Adil Rashid and Karthik rotated singles while two wides left 11 to win in the final over. Romario Shepherd then dismissed Karthik and kept Warriorz to six runs, securing MI’s hard-fought victory.
Earlier, Warriorz had posted 185-8. Muhammad Waseem led their scoring with 39, while Jonny Bairstow contributed 37. They stumbled to 131-5 before Shepherd anchored a late charge, finishing unbeaten on 31 off 10 balls to lift the total toward a competitive sum.
The result marks MI Emirates’ first win of the tournament and lifts them to fourth on the table, while Warriorz slide to the bottom after consecutive losses.
