Their first match against Oregon State University was a tough battle, requiring double-overtime to secure a 3-2 victory. But from there, they were unstoppable, dominating their next five opponents with an impressive 11-4 scoreline.
And this is the part most people miss... The College Cup Final against NC State was a thrilling encounter. With a 2-0 lead in freezing conditions, thanks to goals from Zach Ramsey and Joe Dale, the Huskies seemed destined for victory. But NC State fought back, narrowing the gap with goals from Donavan Phillip and Taig Healy, taking the game into overtime.
